Balambala Member of parliament Abdi Omar Shurie has endorsed Garissa Township MP Aden Duale, to deputize William Samoei Ruto come 2022.
Speaking to journalists at the Parliament Buildings in Nairobi on Wednesday, Shurie argued that Duale is experienced enough to be the next deputy president of this country.
“We are asking Jubilee politicians and more so Deputy President William Ruto to consider Duale has is running mate in the 2022 general election,” he said.
M.r Abdi noted that the Majority leader has made North Eastern to politically shine and believes that Duale will do more if fronted as William Ruto’s running mate.
The first time Member of Parliament said North Eastern as a region and the Somali community have full confidence in Aden Duale.
He said that they will continue to pray so that Duale is considered as DP Ruto’s running mate.
Duale is DP Ruto’s close ally and confidant and there have been claims that Duale could deputize him in 2022.
On Sunday, Duale said that they are ready to push for DP Ruto’s presidency in 2022.
“Duale has been loyal to the deputy president William Ruto and its time he makes him his running mate in the next general elections,” Shurie stated.
National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale is one of the most influential political heads in the North Eastern region.
