Al-shabaab militants in Somalia
MANDERA—Suspected Al-Shabab militants made a dawn attack on Bulla Hawa, a town just across the Kenyan border with Somalia.
The armed men took over the town forcing the Somali National Army to retreat.
The fierce exchange of fire was heard in Mandera town.
“Bula Hawo town is under total lockdown,” a journalist based in the border town said.
“People remain indoors for safety” he added
