GARISSA – Almustaqbal University will celebrate its 14th Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at its expansive university grounds along Kismayo Road.
The event, which begins at 9:00 AM, will be held under the theme “Educating Generations to Build a Prosperous Future.”
This milestone event will honor the achievements of the graduating class as they prepare to make meaningful contributions to Kenya’s development across various sectors.
The theme underscores the university’s dedication to nurturing innovation and progress while empowering young minds to shape a brighter future.
The Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, and Forestry, Aden Bare Duale, will grace the occasion as the distinguished guest of honor.
Other national, regional and local leaders have been invited to the ceremony, which highlights the critical link between education and environmental stewardship in addressing climate change and fostering sustainable development.
Established in 2008 by prominent Muslim scholars in Kenya, Almustaqbal University is a non-profit Islamic institution dedicated to providing quality education that integrates Islamic knowledge and culture.
The university is situated on a 32-acre campus, located five kilometers from Garissa town, and serves as a vital center of learning in Northern Kenya.
The university primarily caters to high school certificate (Thanawi) holders from Islamic schools in the region, offering them opportunities to pursue higher education.
