A healthy baby was safely delivered this evening aboard an ENA Coach bus traveling from Nairobi to Sori.
The bus, with registration number KDK 036U, became the unexpected scene of a birth when a passenger went into labor during the journey.
ENA Coach shared the news on social media, praising their staff and passengers for acting quickly and with kindness.
“We are immensely proud of our staff and fellow passengers who stepped up with care and compassion during this remarkable experience,” the company said.
The bus crew and fellow passengers helped the mother as she gave birth. They created a safe space and ensured she was comfortable throughout the process.
After the baby was born, the bus made a stop to seek medical assistance. Both the mother and baby are reported to be doing well.
ENA Coach is one of Kenya’s top bus and shuttle companies. It has been in operation since 2010 and covers over 30 routes across the country. The company also provides courier services through a partnership with Explorer Parcel Handlers (EPH).
The journey from the capital city on Tuesday was no ordinary trip—it was a ride filled with courage, teamwork, and a small miracle.
