NAIROBI—Seasoned Kenyan television anchor and his long time Somali girlfriend have tied the knot at a private wedding ceremony in Nairobi on Friday.
Ben Kitili said “I do” to Amina Mude, the Standard Digital reports.
Kitili and Amina were a pair and they have a three-year old daughter, Ruby Iman Nzembe Kitili.
“The two made their cross-cultural and cross-religious union official at the AG’s office Friday morning before hosting their families, close friends and colleagues for a lavish wedding dinner at the Panari Hotel, ” the Standard reported on Monday in an apparent reference to the couple’s difference in religion and culture.
Kitili and Amina formalised their union at the Attorney General’s office.
