GARISSA—Four people have been confirmed killed between Kulan and Liboi on Tuesday afternoon in landmine attack. They were all closely related, a family member confirmed.
According to the locals, a Toyata Hilux belonging to ADESO, a humanitarian aid orgernisations, was involved in the 1 PM attack.

“Four people were killed—the driver, a passenger and two staff members,” Ilyas Abdi a friend to one of the staff members, told Kulan Post on the phone.
Mr Hadi Hassan, Ismail Hajir, Hussein Bashir Kadiye and another unidentified person were killed in the attack.
Our attempt to get a response from from the Liboi police boss was futile as his phone was off.
“We are preparing their burial now at Liboi,” Ilyas informed.
Just towards the end of last month, at least eight people were killed in three different attacks in two different area over a period of 24 hours this week.
In all the attack, no groups or individuals have claimed responsibility although similar attacks were previously staged by the militant group Al Shabab.
Wednesday, 24th
At least three people have been confirmed dead at Kulan, Garissa after a police vehicle was hit by a landmine.
According to the police, the vehicle ran over an improvised explosive device before it went up in pieces.
Inspector Issack Aden Durow, the driver Abdikarim Osman Yussuf and Oliver Ochieng died in the attack.
