BREAKING: Kenya confirm first case of Coronavirus

NAIROBI—Kenya has confirmed its first coronavirus case, the Health Cabinet Secretary, Mutahi Kagwe has said.

Kagwe added that the patient is a Kenyan citizen who returned to the country from United States via London on March 5, 2020.

The CS said  that the female patient is doing well.  

“She will not be released from hospital until she’s confirmed negative,” Kagwe stated, adding that all individuals the patient made contact with have been identified and traced.
