Governor criticised for “wastage of public fund” for holding frequent seminars in high-end hotels in Mombasa despite Garissa having such facilities

GARISSA—The Governor of Garissa Nadhif Jama’a was criticised for spending millions on a retreat to a high-end hotel in Mombasa despite Garissa town having several facilities that can accommodate such a function.

In response, Governor  Nathif dismissed the critics, saying “it was important to get the time and space required to focus on the issues at hand without any distractions.”
