As the people of Wajr county await the fate of Governor Mohamed Abdi by the select committee to probe his impeachment by the locals assembly, all sorts of efforts to undermine the governor are in high gear. The initiative is led by a group of people Kulan Post earlier termed as “The Cartels.”
Among the Wajir County cartels are the Eldas MP Aden Kenya, city lawyer Aden Daud and CAS for Environment Mohamed Elmi. The trio are fearful that a free Mohamed Abdi will see them lose relevance in future political formations.
Desperate times call for desperate measures;
Wajir county political cartels were this week spotted at Mudavadi centre and KANU headquarters to administer their usual “cheats and tricks” to the ANC, Ford Kenya and KANU principals. Grapevine has it that they were promising to deliver votes to the three different presidential aspirants come 2022 so as to get the support of their respective senators in support of the forthcoming Senate Impeachment motion.
The effort by the trio to reach the President and the former Primier, Odinga became futile after reports emerge that they are the sponsors of the impeachment process for purpose of 2022 succession politics.
I highly think that the accusations against the Governor is based on witchhunt and was meant to bar the former Saudi envoy from contesting for the county’s top seat for purpose of easy political game plan and other personal gains.
It’s understood that the infamous Wajir County political power brokers have been looking for the leaders of KANU, FORD Kenya and ANC in a bid to receive support from the senators affiliated to the newest political alliance of the country so as to influence the much awaited senate committee report on the impeachment of the Governor of Wajir.
If the scuttlebutt in the air is confirmed and by any chance comes through, our sincere hope that the reputable leaders of the “One Kenya Alliance” will act unto their coalition slogan, look down upon the ill intentions of these enemies of development and manifest the collapse of any effort by the political brokers and cartels.
To add on that, the cartels are making conditions that if their plea isn’t taken for consideration, they will shoot down the incoming referendum and frustrate every single effort in support of the BBI constitutional amendment bill 2020 in Wajir county. However, its clear that the cartels are toothless and have less influence on the ground.
They have been playing with the minds and rights of the residents of Wajir from right to left since 2013, some are known war mongers and some have mastered the art of political hypocrisy.
They’re with you yet against you. They plan with you while still planning against you.
The people of Wajir have learnt about their evil plans and came into a conclusion that, if the disease gets extreme, extreme measure of treatment will be inevitable.
