King of the Degodia clan, Wabar Abdille set to jet into the country next week for peace meetings

NAIROBI—The Wabar (king) of the Degodia clan is set for his first visit to Kenya on Friday November 29, a statement seen by Kulan Post indicates.

Wabar Abdille Abdi, 78, will jet into the country on Friday from Ethiopia, the statement added.

It continued: “The objective of the visit is to enhance unity and harmony internally and with the communities in Kenya and the region.”

The iterinery of the Wabar during his three week visit

In his three week stay, it’s believed that Wabar Abdille will meet with top government officials such the deputy president, William Ruto. He will also visit Wajir and Mandera besides holding strings of meetings in Nairobi.

The Wabar is a respected figure within the Degodia clan and as such, he’s set to steer clear of political endorsement and censure for past political moves.
