NAIROBI—Eight members of parliament from Garissa, Wajir and Mandera counties who took a chartered plane to Somalia have been detained at Wilson airport upon arrival for questioning.

The 8 MPs are Kullow Maalim (Mandera South), Ahmed Kolosh(Wajir West) , Ibrahim Abdi, Rashid Kassim (Wajir East) Mohamed Hire ( Lagdera), Omar Maalim( Mandera East), Bashir Abdulahi ( Mandera North) and Adan Haji (Mandera West).
