NAIROBI—Wiper deputy party leader, Farah Maalim believes the National Super Alliance (NASA) will not hold till the next general elections in 2022.

The former deputy speaker of the National Assembly and Lagdera Member of Parliament belives Raila Odinga who is the leader of NASA, will support William Ruto, the current deputy president, in the 2022 presidential election.

On 30th of January, Raila was sworn in at Uhuru Park as the people’s president. Kalonzo Musyoka skipped the event.

Maalim rubbished the oathing of Raila Odinga and was pleased that his boss Kalonzo Musyoka did not  participate in the mock exercise.

“In 2002 elections, Raila promised to support Nyachae, Kalonzo and Saitoti but he stood with Kibaki,” Maalim Noted.

“This time round, both Kalonzo and Mudavadi hope for Raila’s payback but it seems William Ruto with his billions has the chance,” Maalim added.

Farah Maalim believes both Kalonzo and Mudavadi will be reaching out to Mount Kenya regions to build another political alliance.

“I for see Mudavadi, Wetangula and Mr Musyoka coming together and reaching out to Mount Kenya regions, politics has just started,”  Maalim said.

Mr Farah lost to Aden Dualle in the Garissa central Member of Parliament seat in last year’s elections.

However, Farah contested the results and moved to court. The court will give its verdict on 28th of February.
