NAIROBI—Following four months of suspended learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Prof George Makoha announces on Tuesday morning that basic education will reopen in January, 2021.
However, he said Standard 8 and Form Four candidates will resume studies in September this year and sit their national exam later in 2021.
He also added that “No KCPE and KCSE in 2021; all learners in grade 1 to 4, Standard 5 to 7 and form 1 to 3 to remain in the current classes next year.”
