WAJIR—Floods cause havoc in some areas in Wajir North such as Bute town, Gurar, Ajawa and Korondile. Families have been displaced, properties destroyed while the Bute hospital remains inaccessible.
There are also concerns that the heavy rain in neighbouring Ethiopia might cause further flooding and destruction in the sub County. This has caused alarm among the residents who are already dealing with the aftermath of the destruction caused by the heavy downpour.
