Speaking to Kulan Post, Ahmed Bashane the Member of Parliament for Tarbaj constituency said the “brutal killing of two men in Tarbaj by the security forces would further fuel the mistrust between the locals and the security forces.”

‘’They were unjustly held in custody and they were later killed and their bodies thrown in the bush. What did they do to deserve that,” he asked.
He said if they were at all suspects of the crimes they were accused of, they would have been arraigned in court and dealt with through “proper judicial process.”
“We will champion their rights. I can assure you that,” he stated.
He urged the president to address the matter, saying the run-away killing and disappearances would undo the gains made in the fight against terror and sympathysers.
“If you want the public to work with the security forces, order them to end this killing of the people,” Bashane continued.
