MOMBASSA—The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) politicians who defected to Jubilee party are not useful to us anymore, James Orengo said at Mombasa while marking ODM’s tenth anniversary.
Opposition leader Raila Odinga and the deputy leader and Mombassa governor Hassan Joho attended the function.
Orengo was speaking as Deputy President William Ruto publicly named opposition defectors who joined the Jubilee party at Kasarani in Nairobi.
Among the governors who defected to the ruling Jubilee party is the governor of Marsabit, Ukur Yattani.
President Uhuru is attending the function in Kasarani together with his Deputy William Ruto and First Lady, Margaret Kenyatta.
