WAJIR—Mr. Ali Billow Mahad is the Principal of Danaba Mixed Secondary School in Wajir North. While in class teaching, he received a letter from the Teachers Service Commission. To his shock, the letter “condoled his death.” It further clarified that his contract and salary will be terminated.
In an interview with Kulan Post, Mr Billow said he previously reported the mishap at the TSC headquarters in Nairobi, but the commission did not heed.
“I am not the only victim. There are three other teachers who suffered the same fate,” he noted.
