NAIROBI—A woman in her 20’s has reportedly attempted suicide along the Eighth Street, Eastleigh late last night.
The woman who was identified as Ismahan was informed by her lover that he was ditching her for another woman.
“She screamed and cried and afterwhile, she tried to consume poison to end her life,”a neigbour told Kulan Post.
He added that, “Neighbour from the opposite flats reacted to her distress call and took her to hospital.”
She was admitted at the Madina Hospital along the 9th Strreet where she is recuperating.
