Al Shabab claims responsibility in Kismayu twin blast attack

KISMAYU—Somali militant group have set off simultaneous explosions and gun attack at a hotel in Kismayu on Friday evening.
The gunmen are still remain armed as gunshots could be heard at the hotel.
At least six people have so far been reported dead as casualties are expected to rise.
Al Shabab has claimed responsibility of the attack on Hotel Cascase where regional legislators and ministers were holding meeting.
Sources indicate that senator Ahmed Hashi and several other MPs were saved from the scene of the attack.
There is no any confirmation on the number of casualties. Telephone networks and internet connection has been shut.
This is the first complex attack by Al Shabab in Kismayu.
