MCA candidate in Masalani Ward dies a month to the August polls
The late Ibrahim Mukhtar was a candidate for Masalani Ward in Garissa County.
GARISSA—Masalani Ward in Garissa County has been engulfed by a sombre mood in the better part of Wednesday evening and Thirsday after one of the leading candidate sin the for the post passed on Wednesday afternoon.
The cause of his death was not immediately made public, but close family members maintain it was a natural cause.
Ibrahim Mukhtar was vying to secure Masalani Ward MCA before his departure.
”My departed friend and classmates was loving and real. He was a wonderful friend for all those who interacted him and as well laid a strong foundation for them,” his primary school classmates eulogised him after his shocking death swept through Garissa.
”He stood for justice and transformation agenda,” a voter, Mohamed Hussein said.
