Wajir gets four districts in new gazette notice

WAJIR—The government has declared eight centers in Wajir County as district this past weekend at Diif town.
Unveiling the list, the Regional Commissioner Mohammed Saleh said Khorof Harar, Hadado, Diif and Korondile had been elevated to sub-county level.
The directive appeared on a gazette notice dated 20th July, 2017.
In Garissa, Liboi was named as a district.
“The government will train 100 youths as police reserve (KPR) to help the police secure Wajir County,” Wajir County Commissioner said at Diif town.
