Zimbabwe ‘s military has seized state TV and blocked off access to government offices.

Early yesterday morning heavy military tanks were seen on major in the capital Harare making the residents and the world speculate a coup in the country.

On live TV, an army spokesman denied a coup against Robert Mugabe, instead saying the army seeks to “pacify a degenerating, social, and economic situation.”

Police were made to seat down in a line right outside President Robert Mugabe official residence.

Robert Mugabe has requested the Army to give him time to fly his family to South Africa before he give his media press conference tomorrow that will mark a new Era in Zimbabwe.

On phone, Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe has told President Jacob Zuma of South Africa that he is confined to his home but is fine.

Few days ago Robert Mugabe sacked his vice president and replaced him with his wife.

Mugabe has been the president for 37 years making him the longest serving African head.
