GARISSA—While unveiling a free milk for schoolchildren in Fafi Constituency, area legislator, Salah Yakub said move is aimed at reducing “malnutrition and encourage more learners to join schools.”
“Northern Kenya has the highest mortality and birth rate across the country, but our children are malnourished,” Salah said. The project is first of its kind in the region.
