BREAKING: Bomb scare in Nairobi central leave public in panic

Police in Nairobi have secured Moktar Daddah street in the Central Business District early Wednesday following bomb scare caused by object that was placed at the entrance of the Technical Institute.

“Bomb squad is on the way to assess the object in question,” Robinsom Thuku, the OCPD Central Police Station said.

“We are calling for calm and return to normalcy,” he added.

Journalist at the scene say people in the building are in hurry to leave the premise as the police struggle to contain the charging crownd seeking to have glimpse of the fearful object.

However, after over an hour of stand-off the bomb squad reported that “the object is a motor vehicle spare part.”
