BREAKING: Five killed in yet another roadside blast in Garissa County

Five people are feared dead after a vehicle they were traveling in ran over an IED between Malelei & Kulan in Garissa County, the Kenya Red Cross has reported. Other reports indicate that the victims were police officers.

One person was also injured in the Thursday morning attack.

This is the fourth time such an attack was staged along that stretch of road that connects Liboi and Kulan in Garissa County.

This particular attack comes barely a day after similar one was staged between Kulan and Liboi.

According to the  police, the vehicle ran over an improvised explosive device before it went up in pieces.

Just last week, four people dead after vehicle belonging to a miraa dealer ran over an IED between Kulan & Liboi in Garissa county.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for both attacks.
