WAJIR—Kulan Post journalist Mohamed Barre on Sunday afternoon wedded his lover Mandeq Adan Emoy in a colourful event held at a hotel in Wajir town.
Congratulatory messages poured in from different well-wishers and friends who missed the event. Mohamed’s friends took to social media to congratulate him for the union.
Several county leaders, renowned elders and colleagues attended the Nikah ceremony.
Mohamed Barre is a producer and a celebrated journalist who has been in the industry since 2017. Before joining Kulan Post, he was a reporter for several radio stations such as Star Fm, Tusmo FM and the Wajir-based Soomal Fm.
