Presient Farmajo meets Mohamed Abdullahi (LEFT) on Saturday. {amateur}
MOGADISHU—A Somali farmer who introduced “Ar Farmajo ii geeya ” met the newly elected Somali president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo.
“Farmajo ii geeyo” which loosely translates as “take me to Farmajo” has turned out to be an internet sensation in the Somali social media space.
On Saturday, Abdullahi Mohamed Cisman met the president at Al Jazeera Hotel in Mogadishu.
“I am happy that I met the new president today,” Cisman said. He added that he’s been supporting Farmajo since when he was the Prime Minister in 2011.
Media reports in Somalia indicate that Cisman was promised a job at the presidential palace when the new president becomes the new tenant.
