MANDERA—Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) shot dead one person in Elwak sub county Saturday evening, the locals report.
The man believed to be a mentally ill and a resident of Bula Afya was said to have been shot by the forces as the county remains under dusk to dawn curfew.
Locals add that the diseased was a frequent beggar at the local mosque.
