Mandera MPs, Senator challenged to speak up for Kenyatta University student picked from campus

NAIROBI—Ahmed Hajir Maalim Abdullahi, a Kenyatta University student was bundled into a vehicle Saturday evening by unknown people.

According to students who witnessed the event, Ahmed was forced into a car bearing registration number  KBH 682Y.

“Ahmed is from Mandera town,” Abdisamad Omar an acquaintance identified him on social media after his photo went rounds on social media calling for his safe return.

Senior counsel Ahmednasir Abduallahi has challenged Mandera legislators to question the government on the whereabouts of the student.

“This young boy who hails from Mandera town is represented by a Member of Parliament. He can’t speak for him?” he said.

Social media users have started a campaign— —to create awareness over his missing.
