Two Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education candidates (KCSE) have been admitted to Garissa General Hospital Monday evening after they were involved in motorbike accident.

Medics at the referral facility say the County High School students are being treated for broken jaw and the other for back injuries. The latter remains unconscious, the medic added.

The bodaboda operator sustained light injuries. It is not clear whether they will write their examinations tomorrow as the national exams enter second week.

The accident took place at 8 pm when the students were returning for evening revisions.

Bodaboda accidents are a common place in Garissa lately.
