You are hell bent on plunging this country into bloodshed, Kiunjuri tells Raila

NAIROBI—Devuloution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri has hit out at Nasa Presidential candidate saying that he was hell bent on plunging the country into chaos and bloodshed.

Speaking at Mororo area in Tana north sub county, whe he was distributing some relief food to the affected person due to ongoing drought ,Kiunjuri took issue with Raila’s hard stand towards electoral reforms ahead of October 26 repeat election.

“Raila knows very well deep down in his heart that the path he is taking Kenyans is that of destruction and bloodshed. He does not want peace and prosperity for the kenyans,” said Kiunjuri.

He took issue with the anti IEBC demonstration meant to force out the electoral body CEO Ezra Chiloba for bungling the August 8th presidential polls.

Yesterday Nasa supporters took to the streets of Nairobi to demonstrate following calls by their principals.

“If Uhuru was to take the same position against the supreme court which nullified his victory the same way Nasa is treating IEBC, then the we could as well be prepared to go the Somali way where the rule of the jungle applies,” he said.

Kiunjuri who is among the few CS who do not shy away from campaigning for president Uhuru Kenyatta said he would win by an even bigger margin this time round.

“I want to offer free advice to Raila that he should stop shifting goal posts knowing well that he has no numbers to win the elections. The earlier he accepts this reality the better for this country,” he said.

Former Tana river governor Hussein Dado who lost on his part said Uhuru Kenyatta respects the rule of the law and that is why he accepted the court’s ruling that nullified his victory.
