President Uhuru Kenyatta at the State House on Monday when he met with women supporters.
NAIROBI—State House is preparing to host Jubilee Youth Brigade, a lobby with more than 280 thousand volunteers across the country.
The meeting comes after State House get-together with the women wing.
The president has been hosting various communities and organised groups from across the country in an effort to consolidate votes ahead of the 26th Oct. Presidential repeat elections.
Jubilee Youth Brigade is leading a push to deliver for the re-election of President Kenyatta.
Speaking to the press after a national steering committee meeting, the group chairman Said Hashi confirmed the State House meeting, saying it was aimed at strategising at the onslaught.
“We are looking forward to meeting his Excellency the president and our party leader as we marshall votes across the country to give an overwhelming victory (to Uhuru) as a birthday gift,” he said.
The president has been in an extensive campaign across the country making routes in the perceived opposition strongholds even as NASA team threaten to boycott the elections.
