DEVELOPING: Suspected Al Shabab militants have reportedly attacked a police vehicle ferrying soldiers along Elwak-Daba City road, 140 KM from Mandera town.
The landmine went off after the police vehicle passed by, a police officer onboard told Kulan Post.
No casualties reported after the attack.
Daba City is notorious for Shabab roadside attacks targeting civilian and police vehicles.
