Wajir Palace Hotel set to receive global award at Madrid end of January

The entrance of Wajir Palace Hotel, formerly Wajir Hilton Palace in Wajir. The hotel is set to be feted at an event in Madrid, Spain.

WAJIR—A hotel in Wajir has been recognized by an international club of traders for quality services.

The Global Trade Leaders Club based in Madrid, Spain is set to award Wajir Palace with International Hotel and Restaurant Quality Award at a ceremony to be held in Madrid at the end of January. The hotel was formerly Wajir Hilton Palace.

The Club honours the most outstanding establishments in the hotel, gastronomy and restaurant industries.

“I am ready to represent Wajir Palace Hotel at the award ceremony,” CEO of Wajir Palace Hotel Abdifatah Athar told Kulan Post.

At Castila Hotel in Madrid where Wajir Palace is set to be awarded at, Spanish authorities and the business community will be invited to grace the occasion.

“A work meeting will also be orgernised to present the awarded companies publicly and promote mutual knowledge as well as commercial and professional relationships between all businessmen,” the General Secretary of the The Global Trade Leaders Club Ricardo Rosso Lopez stated.

On renaming the hotel, Abdifatah said, “The customers demanded it. They have been asking for it for a long time.”

Abdifatah thanked the customers at the hotel, saying the progress experienced lately was largely due to client feedback and a challenge to continuously upgrade service.
