WAJIR—We have not moved to the opposition, Party for Development and Reforms leadership in Wajir County has confirmed. PDR is an affiliate to the ruling Jubilee party.

In a statement to Kulan Post, a lead campaigner of the PDR  candidates for top county posts  said the party will push for the re-election of President Uhuru.

”Reports that PDR in Wajir County joined the Opposition NASA is a lie and propaganda,” Abukar Gacal, a lead campaigner for ”Team Fresh” said.

Gacal was reacting to statements that appeared on social media in the early evening of Wednesday claiming that PDR leadership in Wajir have resolved to decamp 32 days to the August polls.

”We are in Jubilee to stay,” he added.
