NAIROBI—A woman want the court to compel DP Willaim Ruto pay for her child’s upkeep.
Prisca Chemutai said she wants the Deputy President compelled to support the minor.
“The respondent has failed to provide the minor with adequate and basic necessities such as good health, food, school fees, clothing, shelter and medication,”Prisca said in court paper.
“The defendant has eschewed and neglected his parental responsibility as demanded of him under the constitution of Kenya,” the Star quoted her lawyer as saying after he filed the case at the Milimani Law Courts.
