NAIROBI—Senior Council Ahmed Nassir Abdullahi has ripped into the performance of the former minister of Northern and Arid Lands Mohamed Elmi, terming him ”a failure”
Appearing at RTN TV Sunday morning, Ahmed said the outgoing Tarbaj MP was non-performer while he was the head of the ministry which was established solely for the region.
“Ministry of Northern Kenya was solely established by the Grand Coalition Government as a platform for transformation of NEP province. Mohammed Elmi was appointed the first and the only minister to run the docket, fully funded by donors and the national government,”he said.
Ahmed Nassir said Moahamed Elmi implemented zero project, failed to help the Wagalla massacre victims and never uttered a word in parliament in defence of the region.
”Now he claims to be a Degodia leader in Wajir (County falsely determined to halt governor Abdullahi’s achievements. Honestly who will listen to this failure?” he noted.
He urged voters in Wajir to make a rational decision while electing their leaders.
Ahmed is the chairman of Al Noor Media to which RTN belongs to.
