GARISSA—At least two people have reportedly been injured in Modogshe along Garissa-Isiolo border at the wake of renewed clans skirmeshes.
Isiolo Women Representative, Rehema Jaleesa condemned the attacks, calling on the government to intervene and end the fighting.
“I strongly condemn such acts of insecurity and call upon the security apparatus to immediately calm the skirmishes and ensure the proprietors of this heinous actions are brought to book, Jaldesa said.
Locals say fighting started mid-day on Sunday. Smoke from burning houses rented the air in Modogashe town.
“I therefore call upon CS for security Dr Fred Matiangi to immediately intervene and follow it up with the zeal and urgency it requires,” Rehema added.
