Kulan PostGARISSA— The county government of Garissa led by Governor Ali Bunow Korane has nominated additional new public officers into his regime.
This is in accordance with the constitution of the county government act section 581a442b4541.
This comes after the county public service advertised several remaining position in November last year.
The governor noted that after several consultations the county public service board has now come with a decision for 3 new county public officers.
The governor nomination is as follows:
The governor also appointed Yusuf Nur Yuniss to be in charge of development coordination.
Korane said the new position was necessary due to lack of proper coordination in the management of the development of the county.
He added that 57% of projects were outside the CIDP of which some of the projects were not planned for resulting to under development.
“The new appointment will to keep the new projects in line with this year’s CIDP and take record of all the programs that is going on in county” he added.
Speaking with the press at his office, the governor nominated several other positions as follows
The governor assured that during his regime he will not leave any unpaid bill. He will implement projects that only have budgetary provision so that residents may benefit from the service.
