We know because we asked several women for the traits they find most unattractive in a man. There are some clear common threads here: arrogance, bad hygiene and some lot of other surprises that men feel is ‘manly” but is a complete turn off for women. Yeah.

1.Neediness
Men’s traits all women do not like is neediness. This male trait often shows at the early stages of a relationship. Confidence and independence are very sexy traits in a man — insecurity and dependence are not. In a question that appeared on Quora, women were asked about their definition of a needy man.
They all similarly defined this kind of a man with one woman saying, “So, basically a needy guy is someone who requires more attention and effort than a girl is willing to give. Especially at the beginning when you are getting to know each other.

This s the type of man who is someone who is overly self-confident, very arrogant and assumes they know all the answers. Cockiness is often confused with positive traits, such as confidence.

To everyone else, he is an annoying and arrogant phony who comes across as a wannabe overcompensating for his insecurities. He tries to appear like the center of whatever group will tolerate him, but in reality, he is just a tag-along who mooches drinks, women, contacts, social standing, and other benefits from the group… while contributing nothing.
When a man is too self-absorbed, and too self-centered to put you, his girlfriend, before himself, he is a complete douche bag.
4. A complainer
This is the kind of person who is always disagreeing on things, unpleasant person. Dealing with people who often complain can be tough.
It is annoying and can even be mentally and emotionally draining. All ladies hate a man who always nags as much as men hate women who nag all the time. Everyone is given the same life, so most ladies think men should have nothing to complain about but fix what’s bothering them .
5. Laziness
Women see laziness as the most unappealing trait in men. A man who is full of excuses all the time, seldom finishes anything and he is full of unrealistic dreams is considered to be lazy and no lady entertains such traits unless if one is desperate for attention.

For example, you may mention in passing that you are looking to make a career switch and want to test the job market. He will not be ashamed to boast that he knows this CEO and that manager and that headhunter and that shareholder, and will promise to hook you up.
Whether he is unable to or simply not bothered to, he will probably not follow through with his promise unless it is going to directly benefit him.
A woman often looks at how a man treats other people to assess his personality. So, even though you might be nice to her on a date, she’ll be paying attention to how you act with other people too.
7.Egocentric
An egocentric man is a man who gives importance and self worth only to himself and no lady cannot handle a man with an ego.
If a man who cannot tolerate his wife earning more than him or his wife having male friends and abuses her verbally or physically, he is definitely a man with an ego and men’are good looking and charming – that’s probably why she fancied you in the first place. However she really doesn’t need someone who keeps reminding her of that!

8.Poor hygiene
If a man has poor hygiene and is irresponsible, he is by far the most unattractive. There are different types hygiene that some men don’t follow. They are:
1.) Oral Hygiene
Brushing twice a day is not only important but is also an unwritten law of hygiene. Unfortunately, men love to break rules and think brushing once a day is more than enough. Regular dental check-up is something that is an especially neglected phenomenon.
2.) Bathroom Hygiene
Peeing on the toilet seat and not cleaning it is an obnoxious habit that some men are known to have. Also, many do not wash their hands after using the washroom, apparently, unaware of the amount of germs they carry with them as a result.
3.)Health Check Ups
Being the ‘man’ of the house, he always ignores his health despite knowing that they are more susceptible to grave illnesses like cancer. Regular visits to the doctor are not only important but should be made mandatory after crossing a particular age.
4.) Scratching
Scratching themselves at weird spots in public places is yet another habit that is absolutely unhealthy. In order to avoid the sweat to accumulate and cause itching at private parts, maintaining cleanliness is indispensable for every man.

7.) Talking With A Full Mouth
However important the conversation be, talking with food in your mouth is simply unacceptable. It is not only unhygienic but also an unpleasant sight for the person sitting around you on the dining table. Habits that disgust the person watching you and embarrass you at the same time, mean that they need to be stopped. Following the basic rules of hygiene never hurt anyone and would only do you a world of good.

9.No sense of humour
