NAIROBI—Zambians Members of Parliament landed in Kenya over the weekend to benchmark on how to tackle the run away corruption cases in their country.

The committee on Privileges, Absences and Support Services visited EACC commissioners at Integrity Centre in Nairobi to learn how the agency has been spearheading the war on graft.

This is a study by our colleagues from the Zambian National Assembly. We are sharing with them our experiences as a commission when it comes to corruption and promotion of ethics in our country,” said Commissioner Mwaniki Gachoka according to the article.

The visit by the Zambian delegation is somewhat bizarre considering the high number of corruption cases in Kenya.

Kenyans on social media however poked fun on the Zambian MPs claiming that Kenya is home to corruption.

The eight MPs are expected to  share their experiences and the problems they have encountered in the fight against the vice and processes in whistle-blowing and prosecution of suspects.

“We recognize the fact that corruption does exist and want to learn how Kenya has been dealing with it. It is generally agreed that corruption cannot be fought with kids’ gloves,” said Garry Nkombo, who is leading the foreign delegation.
